My Story
Sean Holbert
Founder & Operator
OBTEO Technology Solutions, LLC was founded in 2026 by Sean Holbert to bring enterprise-grade IT practices to homes and small businesses in Greater Binghamton, NY. Sean's background includes 15+ years managing desktop services, systems administration, and network infrastructure for a major university and a regional media company — work that means secure, well-documented, low-drama technology for the people who depend on it.
OBTEO applies that same standard to home networks and small business IT: clear communication, secure defaults, and solutions sized to fit — not oversold.
How I Work
Plain communication
No jargon, no scare tactics — just clear explanations of what's needed and why.
Secure by default
Every setup is built with security and reliability in mind from the start, not bolted on later.
Right-sized solutions
Recommendations that fit your home or business — not the biggest package available.
